I’ve always been drawn to the frontlines—where leadership matters most, where trust is fragile, and where transformation becomes possible. More than two decades in the nonprofit sector, I’ve built my career as a communications executive, strategist, and servant leader. But what defines my work is not just what I’ve done—it’s how I lead.
As a Chief Communications Officer, I’ve led more than just messaging—I’ve helped guide organizational culture, shape mission-aligned strategy, and steward trust across entire systems. I’ve launched award-winning initiatives, led rebranding efforts, and developed national training programs that now support thousands of frontline staff. My leadership style is marked by calm clarity, ethical focus, and a deep belief in the power of people to grow when given the space and support to do so.
Crisis communications is one of many tools I’ve mastered—but it’s not the centerpiece of my leadership. My true value lies in building resilient teams, operationalizing values, and creating structures that can withstand pressure and grow through it. I lead by humanizing leadership—modeling transparency, empathy, and accountability in ways that cultivate loyalty, innovation, and alignment at every level.
In my Executive Masters of Public Leadership program, I developed a research-based framework on how nonprofit executives build trust—a capstone that now informs my everyday leadership. I know what it takes to restore faith in institutions, navigate uncertainty, and lead with both head and heart. I’ve done it as a C-level executive.
